After going past the Mississippi River from Eagan, then entering the neighboring city of Bloomington, it enters the city after forming a clover interchange with Interstate 494. The road is connected to 17th Street, E 70th Street, and E 66th Street, and exits the city after intersecting with State Route Highway 62, and ending at its terminus of Lake Nokomis.
As for the second category of roads, east to west (and vice versa) roads include: 66th Street, 70th Street, 76th Street, and 77th Street.
For north to south (and vice versa) roads, these include: Penn Avenue, Lyndale Avenue, Nicollet Avenue, and Portland Avenue.
